IPhone 4 Case Quickly Fixes IPhone 4 Antenna Issues.

There have been reports, literally thousands upon thousands of reports from customer regarding their iPhone 4 signal issues. The common issues that everyone is talking, writing and blogging about is the complete loss of cell services and data on the iPhone 4.

Everything seems to point to the way you use your iPhone, or more specifically, the way you hold your iPhone. The iPhone 4 antenna signal issues.  As silly as it sounds, it’s absolutely true.I use my iPhone 4 more than the average cell phone user, some days spending up to 6 hours on the phone with customers, clients and friends.  When the iPhone 4 is held a certain way (which in all honesty seems to be the proper way to hold it), there’s a complete loss of signal. The display of the signal bars on the phone drop from a full 4 or 5 bars right down to nothing and your calls are immediately dropped.

Apple has been extremely slow in even talking about or responding to this problem, stating just recently that a software update to iOS 4 will correct the problem of the signal bars showing incorrect signal quality.  While I have a hard time believing that this is the cause of a completely dropped call in an area that otherwise has excellent signal strength, it’s the only official word all iPhone 4 users have received.

There is a quick fix out there for this issue, and it has to do with having an iPhone 4 case on your iPhone.  With a case on your iphone 4, you can hold the phone in any way you want, and your signal simply will not drop.  It is yet another indication that there is in fact something very wrong with the internal design of the iPhone 4 itself. As a result of always getting a case for my gadgets, and the iPhone 4 case I bought was purchase the day I got my iPhone 4, I have had no issues with dropped calls or poor signal strength.it’s certainly a very costly piece of technology, so spending a measly $10.00 - $20.00 on a good looking, and more important - a protective case just seems like good old common sense to me.I certainly don’t want scratches or scuffs on my iPhone 4, but that doesn’t take away from the problem I have with this whole signal issue going on with a brand new phone.

Gizmodo states that Apple may in fact be doing some type of a silent or unannounced recall on the iPhone 4 with certain customers. When they get a replacement iPhone 4, and the signal drops and receiption issues don’t seem to be there in the new iPhone 4 they are receiving.  It’s important for me to say that this “silent recall” is only speculation - and not something that comes right from the mouth of Apple themselves. But a good number of customers have noticed that the signal loss issue has all buy dissappeared on their swapped out iPhone 4.  While others continue to have a problem, unless of course, they put their iPhone 4 back in an iPhone case again.
