Tokyoflash Watches-The Evolution of Timekeeping
Man has always been preoccupied with guaging time. Horology-the science that involves the building of machines that indicate time is among the oldest of the scientific crafts.
The creators of the Tokyoflash Watches have taken the science of Horology to a whole new level. How so?
By creating some of the most unique digital watches on the market today. The japanese makers of Tokyoflash watches don’t just strive to create the best timepieces for there is way too much competition to realize that. However, their philosophy is to form timepieces that are not only functional and trendy, but most of all unique.
Take the Tokyoflash Men’s Barcode SS watch for instance. Not your average timepiece. The Barcode SS measures around 3 centimeters across, six centimeters long, and 1 centimeters thick, and includes a band made of solid stainlesssteel straps with a push-button, fold-over clasp.
However, it is the display of the Tokyoflash Barcode SS watch that really sets it apart. It indicates the time with multi-color LEDs shining in binary code.
The time is represented by a number of lights in each of four columns. In the first column each light has a value of five for the hour, 2nd column a value of 1 for the hour, 3rd column a value of 10 for the minutes and the fourth column a value of one for the minutes, which requires you to manually figure out the time in your head.
This may sound difficult, but it’s pretty easy and quite fun when you become used to the system but I wouldn’t recommend having too many drinks if you must take a train home at a certain time.
Tokyoflash makes several styles of watches, each with its own unique design and twist of displaying the time. If you are a person who thinks outside the box or likes to stand out from the crowd, then a Tokyoflash watch may be for you.
So although the science of Horology is millenia old, Tokyoflash watches have maybe advanced the science of timekeeping to a whole new level.
